I recently was lucky enough to be able to attend the Napa Film Festival with my school, New Technology High.
It was there that I saw two documentaries one of them being 'Big Sonia'. In this documentary it follows a women named Sonia, who is one of the last remaining Holocaust survivors, and publicly speaks of her experience, while working at her beloved tailor shop. I think that it was important for our school to see this, not only was it inspiring to watch Sonia be able to speak of something that was so inhuman that she underwent , but its important I think for people to get the courage to the same, and I think Sonia inspired them to do just that!
